Synectics Solutions build complex data management and software products for companies around the world. The company based in Newcastle-under-Lyme was formed 23 years ago by Kevin and Carol Shanahan and currently employ 270 talented people.

To cater for the Company’s rapid growth they have recently moved to a new large head office building in Burslem. Stoke On Trent

Drone Photography Services were asked to take aerial photos and produce a corporate video of the new head office.

Staffordshire Business of the Year

In Spring 2016 Synectics Solutions were awarded Business of the Year in the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards 2016.  This is in recognition of growth, transformation and success of Synectics Solutions.

These solutions are called; AppCheck, ReCheck and FraudHub. These new products enable a proactive approach to fraud prevention and detection.

Synectics Solutions are a major player in the insurance market.  They now offer some compelling reasons why insurers should have access to public sector data. “Insurers should continue to enrich their understanding of risks through access to the widest possible range of relevant and value-adding intelligence available”.

Recent research from KPMG has shown that while a quarter of fraudsters use technology to rip off companies, only three per cent of businesses detected illegal behaviour using data analytics.

I think in layman’s terms by pooling masses of database fraud information this is enabling insurance companies, financial institutions and finance companies to prevent multiple credit applications or fraudulent insurance claims.

With the recent move to the new head office space in Burslem, Synectics Solutions have become very active within the community, including Port Vale football club.

From the start of the 2016-17 football season they will be running and staffing the car park they own, adjacent to the ground, on match days.  All of the money made from the car park will be used to buy match day tickets that they will donate to local institutions (schools, churches, charities etc).  Synectics Solutions feel both the club and the community will benefit from this.

When Drone Photography Services were asked to take aerial photos and produce a corporate video of the new head office, Synectics Solutions wanted the images and video clearly show the company’s location and close proximity to Burslem and Port Vale Football Club.
